The Field

Who said Daft Punk was the only music work that made repetition sound nice?

The Field, someone actually not from France, who makes electronic music is here to rebuke that blasphemous statement made right above. Damn that stupid question above! Grrrr!

I mean, listen to that. Isn't that really very very beautifully mastered out? I mean, come on, repetition, yeah, sure. But its the synthesis. The way the instruments come together. And the sound, basically, is extremely audiophile-like. Only such talent can make a 7 minute song consisting of only vowel sounds.

Have a look at this one. It's another great track, it being a remix of one of Lionel Richie's songs. And see how mesmerizing the whole beat gets you sucked into. Some wave that's on reverse. Somebody who's calling you there, but only you're not there at all. Watching a movie clip of flowers, dreamy skies and the beauty of human nature before a chopper comes in and kills you. You, knowing the chopper's coming anyway.

It is repetitive, yet you don't want it to end.
