Like Daughtry, his vocal range is lower, but he seems to have a slightly less husky voice, which means he can also appeal to the pop rock side, and not just rock, like what Daughtry does here.
The gambling schemes give him an extra edge over Archuleta, with him having a likelier chance of winning. I think so too. But people like Fifi will stop that. Somehow. She's gonna blow her piggy bank money or something, making expensive overseas calls for him to win.
