CD Review: Four Tet / Burial - Wolf Cub / Moth

Four Tet / Burial - Wolf Cub / Moth

Four Tet - Wolf Cub:
Insidiously subtle. Quick beats of toyish percussion all around, inclusive of filtered murmurs into abyss. Exciting, alt. yoga-like trance rhythm throughout, calling for its seemingly natural sound.

Burial - Moth:
When I got myself Burial's famous-to-the-extreme Untrue, I was stunned by how the man (now revealing himself as Englishman William Bevan) could make minimal cuts and sampling sound like the angels beneath electronic drum machine beats. Moth is more of the same, and, as I found out, the more minimal, the more replay valuable, and ultimately, longer lifespan on the tracks.
