A Little Bit Longer - Jonas Brothers CD Review

5.2

Okay, my brother got this CD, he forced me to listen to it, I'm not gay. (he is)

For one, it was actually much better than I had expected. I had been shunning the Jonas Brothers off as some kinda stupid kid nonsense rock band for since they were in the music scene, and the Disney tie-ins probably made it more sick in my stomach. But it's really better than Miley Cyrus. Even my brother didn't even bother getting Miley Cyrus, so hey, that's a difference.

"BB Good" is like some kinda stupid song with some of the most predictable lyrics you'd call yourself a fortune teller, but slick guitar licks save this rather redundant song from the horrible. Burnin' Up's a compilation of every single thing a boyband would have tried to sing. Shelf's a bad attempt at emotional hard rock. One Man Show's a strange anthem with prophetic Hives guitar and chorus, but can be better without some of the dumbest lyrics which even your baby cousin would find boring.

Lovebug sounds as if the Brothers became Colbie Callait for 3 and a half minutes, and its brainless mid-song conversation's just kinda really off key and really... dumb.

Tonight's comparable to Boys Like Girls' Great Escape, except with probably a more interesting lineup of those orchestral thingies. From now, I allow you to skip to the last song, because the songs inbetween were more than likely written by the infinite monkey theorem. The last song, in question, is A Little Bit Longer, which strikes a heavy resemblance with the now missing A1 band.

Man, I used to like A1 a lot. (I'm not gay)

All in all, this is money well spent, if spent on someone who has ADHD or 10 and under. He'll be dancing like as if High School Musical never happened.
